Office of Field Programs

The Office of Field Programs of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has internship opportunities available for undergraduate and graduate students starting in August 2012. Depending on background and experience, interns will assist the Outreach and Training Coordinator with various projects to include, without limitation, reviewing and assembling training materials; entering, tracking and preparing reports on outreach events conducted across the country; and designing/editing and collaborating about outreach and training publications, manuals, etc.  Interns may also assist with other tasks associated with the Office of Field Programs.

Applicants should have an interest in public policy, strong Microsoft Office experience, and creative design experience related to brochures and other printed materials, good writing, communication and organization skills. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Interns should expect to work at least 8 hours per week. EEOC internships are unpaid; however, interns may receive academic credit. The EEOC is an equal opportunity employer.
