EEO-1 ONLINE FILING PROCEDURE
Type 6 Records
If Type 6 records already exist in your company's EEO-1 online database, you must first enter employment data into the TYPE 2 (CONSOLIDATED REPORT) record for all
company employees. Then, enter employment data into the TYPE 3 (HEADQUARTERS REPORT) record and each TYPE 4 (ESTABLISHMENT REPORT) record. Then, enter the
employment total for each existing TYPE 6 record and click 'SAVE'. If you need to add additional Type 6 records to your company's online database, click 'Add Location'
(Main Menu screen), and click 'Next'. Enter the name, complete address and total number of employees for each establishment, and click 'Save and Add Another' until
all Type 6 records have been added. After the last TYPE 6 record has been added, click 'SAVE'. Please note that completion of the
'Employee Grid For All Type 6 Records' is no longer required.
Type 8 Records
If Type 8 records already exist in your company's EEO-1 online database, you cannot enter employment data into the TYPE 2 (CONSOLIDATED REPORT) record. Employment data automatically
populates the TYPE 2 (Consolidated Report) record including column and row totals, as you enter employment numbers for each data record in your company's EEO-1 online database.
