The Oakland Local Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please call first to obtain information or schedule an appointment. The Oakland Local Office will be closed to the public for walk-in intake as of February 22, 2010 because of construction. We will still be processing cases that have already been filed with our office and will be able to assist people who wish to file with our office by mail during this time. Please call Investigative Support Assistant Julian Melendres at 510-637-3230 if you wish to file with us by mail or have a status call or extension request on an existing case. If you wish to file in person, please go to the San Francisco District Office at 350 The Embarcadero, Suite 500 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm beginning the week of March 1st. No appointment is necessary and people will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that there will be no intake in San Francisco on March 3, 2010 and March 4, 2010 because of an in-house training. |
