Project View
Project View is IBM’s nationally recognized diversity initiative that focuses on the recruitment of college and university candidates, including interns and co-op placements. The program is specifically designed to increase the participation of persons of diverse backgrounds, women and individuals with disabilities. Project View is a highly customized effort that brings together hiring managers and highly skilled students through invitation-only events. These events are held throughout the United States and provide IBM managers with an opportunity to interview pre-screened candidates, fill openings, and make on-the-spot job offers to meet the needs of the business. A similar initiative was created for the recruitment and hiring of experienced professionals.
Project View was launched in 1988 and is responsible for placing about half of IBM's university hires from diverse groups.
