Next Commission Meeting Wednesday, February 20

WASHINGTON - The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) will hold a meeting on Wednesday, February 20, at 9:30 a.m. (Eastern Time), at agency headquarters, 131 M Street, N.E. In accordance with the Sunshine Act, the open session of the meeting will be open to public observation of the Commission's deliberations and voting. The remainder of the meeting will be closed.

During the open session of the meeting, the Commission will discuss progress the agency has achieved in implementing the Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2012-2016. Claudia Withers, EEOC Chief Operating Officer and Performance Improvement Officer, and Deidre Flippen, Director of the Office of Research, Information and Planning and Deputy Performance Improvement Officer, will provide an overview of the Strategic Planning process and updates on each performance plan measure. The agency's goal leaders for each measure will then assist them in responding to questions from the Commissioners.

For the open session, seating is limited and it is suggested that visitors arrive 30 minutes before the meeting in order to be processed through security and escorted to the meeting room.

The Commission agenda is subject to revision. Any matter not discussed or concluded may be carried over to a later meeting. Additional information about the hearing, when available, will be posted at http://www.eeoc.gov/eeoc/meetings/index.cfm.
