2021 EEO-4 Data Collection

Update:  New Scheduled Opening of 2021 EEO-4 Data Collection

The 2021 EEO-4 Data Collection is scheduled to open October 2021.  Filers should begin preparing to submit data in anticipation of the October 2021 opening.

The precise opening date of the collection, as well as the new submission deadline date, will be announced by posting a notice on the EEOC’s home page at www.eeoc.gov as well as on the new dedicated website for the EEOC’s data collections at https://EEOCdata.org.  As in previous years, a notification letter will also be sent to eligible filers. Please visit https://EEOCdata.org  for more information regarding updates on the data collections.

When the collection opens, resources to assist filers with their submissions will be available online at https://EEOCdata.org.  The EEOC Filer Support Team will also be available to respond to filer inquiries and to provide additional filling assistance.

As part of its mandate under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the EEOC collects labor force data from state and local governments with 100 or more employees within the 50 U.S. states and District of Columbia which indicate the composition for their work forces by sex and by race/ethnic category.  The EEO-4 data collection is conducted biennially in every odd-numbered year.

The 2019 State and Local Data Collection (EEO-4) is CLOSED.

The filing deadline was September 30, 2019.
