EEO-3 (Local Union Report) Data Collection

Update:  2020 EEO-3 Data Collection Is NOW OPEN

After delaying the opening of the 2020 EEO-3 Data Collection on May 8, 2020 in light of the COVID-19 public health emergency, the 2020 EEO-3 Data Collection is NOW OPEN as of Tuesday, August 24, 2021.  The deadline for submitting 2020 EEO-3 data is Monday, November 1, 2021

Filers should visit the newly launched EEO-3 website at www.EEOCdata.org/eeo3 for the latest filing updates and additional information on how to file. By visiting the EEO-3 Filer Support Center located at www.EEOCdata.org/eeo3/support, filers can request assistance as well as find helpful resources, including the 2020 EEO-3 Instruction Booklet, FAQs and a Fact Sheet. Filers may also contact the EEO-3 Filer Support Team at EEO3FilerSupport@EEOCdata.org or toll free at 1-855-EEOC-035 (1-855-336-2035).

The Local Union Report (EEO-3), EEOC Form 274, also referred to as the EEO-3 Report, is a mandatory biennial data collection that requires local unions, specifically local referral unions with 100 or more members, to submit demographic workforce data including membership, applicant, and referral information by race/ethnicity and sex. The filing by eligible local unions is required under section 709(c) of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 2000e-8(c), 29 CFR 1602.22 and 27-.28.
