||The Chicago District Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, except federal holidays. Everyone visiting our offices must present a photo ID at the building security desk located in the office tower on the third floor
Individuals wishing to file charges of discrimination may schedule an interview for time slots available at 8:45 am, 10:45 am, 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, except federal holidays.
We strongly encourage you to schedule your interview through the online Public Portal system described below. While walk-ins may be accepted until 11:30 a.m., scheduling an interview is strongly recommended. Individuals with appointments and walk-ins who are close to the statute of limitations will be given priority. Appointments who arrive late 15 minutes or more will be treated as a walk-in and may have to reschedule.
If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal you may call 312-869-8010 for assistance. Please say and spell your first and last name, the number where you can be reached between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm, provide an email address if you have one and a brief description of the issue you are having.
