Litigation Results

EEOC maintains statistics on EEOC enforcement suits filed and resolved in the federal district courts.  The statistics may be viewed in a table, reflecting data for the past ten years. The table divides the suits by the various statutes enforced by the EEOC and provides aggregate data on monetary relief obtained.

More detailed statistical information, as well as descriptions of representative cases resolved in trial courts and significant appellate cases decided or briefed, are discussed in more detail in the Office of General Counsel Annual Reports. The Annual Reports are issued each fiscal year, which runs from October 1 of the preceding year to September 30.
