Iliana Castillo-Frick is Vice Provost at Miami Dade College, serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer for America's Premier College with responsibilities for the activities of the Human Resources Division. Before joining the College, she held a number of progressively senior level human resources positions in the financial industry over a span of 20 years.

She is actively involved in the local community and serves on several boards. A member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Greater Miami SHRM since 1985, Iliana has served as Diversity Director, Community Affairs Director, Chapter President of GMSHRM and District Director for HR Florida. She is also a charter member (2005) of the Miami-Dade County Business Leadership Network (BLN), an advisory board and grassroots organization providing employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. She was the BLN President from 2011 through its sunset in 2014.

Iliana has been honored with the HR Florida Council President of the Year Award, the GMSHRM Lifetime Achievement Award, the BLN Board Member of the Year and most recently, she was the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce HR Executive of the Year in 2012 and in 2015, she was the Florida State College System - HR Council Nevis Herrington HR Excellence Award recipient.

Iliana has BA degrees in French and hospitality management from Florida International University and AA from Miami Dade College. She is also a graduate of Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Leadership Miami Class of 1998.
