Vulnerable Workers Task Force

In fiscal year 2020, former Chair Dhillon established the Vulnerable Workers Task Force to ensure that the agency effectively identifies, reaches, and serves vulnerable workers throughout the nation’s workforce.  To successfully accomplish this goal, the Task Force is re-examining issues involving outreach and education, strategic partnerships, research and data, accessibility, and internal collaboration and support.

The Task Force is taking an evidence-based approach and will use data to provide recommendations for actions that strategically maximize agency resources as well as enhance internal and external information sharing.  This will increase support for vulnerable worker populations nationwide, improve the way we serve vulnerable workers in remote locations, reach those with low literacy and limited English proficiency, among others.

The Task Force Membership includes the following internal offices, leveraging technical expertise and experience of our EEOC staff:

  • Office of the Chair
  • Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer
  • Office of Communications & Legislative Affairs
  • Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics
  • Office of Equal Opportunity
  • Office of Federal Programs
  • Office of Field Programs
  • Office of General Counsel
  • Office of Information Technology
  • Office of Legal Counsel
