Agencias Estatales y Locales

La EEOC trabaja con Agencias de Prácticas de Empleo Equitativo (FEPA, tal sus siglas en inglés) y las Oficinas de Derechos de Empleo de Tribus (TERO, tal sus siglas en inglés) para manejar cargos por discriminación y la protección de los derechos de empleo de los Norteamericanos Nativos. La EEOC tiene contratos con aproximadamente 90 FEPA en toda la nación para procesar más de 48.000 cargos por discriminación anualmente. Estos cargos plantean reclamos conforme a leyes estatales y locales que prohíben la discriminación en el empleo como también leyes federales ejecutadas por la EEOC. Las oficinas FEPA y TERO que corresponden al área cubierta por la Oficina de Distrito de Atlanta se enumeran a continuación.
