Please be advised that, you have the option to schedule a telephone interview, an interview by video with an EEOC representative, or an in-person interview at our office.  Individuals who come into the office without an appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. Scheduling an interview is strongly recommended and individuals with appointments will be given priority.  

You are encouraged to visit the EEOC Public Portal (https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/) to schedule an intake appointment by telephone, by video or in-person.   The system can also be accessed by going directly to our website at https://www.eeoc.gov/. 

There are strict deadlines for filing a charge of discrimination, please review the information in the timeliness tab or call 1-800-669-4000. 

For individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, you can reach EEOC by videophone at 1-844-234-5122. If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal, please call 1-800-669-4000.

The Greensboro Local Office is open to the public for walk-ins on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Individuals who come into the office without an interview appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. You must arrive 2 hours before closing to assure same day service. If staffing levels permit, walk-in interviews may be available in certain circumstances, but scheduling an interview is strongly recommended. Individuals with appointments or with an imminent filing deadline will be given priority. You are encouraged to visit the EEOC Public Portal (https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/) to schedule an intake interview using the options for a telephone, virtual (computer) appointment, or in-office in-person interview. Due to staffing limitations, scheduled in-person interviews may only be available on certain days. The Greensboro Local Office is located on the 2nd floor at 1500 Pinecroft Rd. Suite 212, Greensboro, NC 27405.  When you arrive, please sign in at the EEOC’s front desk, and fill out the “Walk-in Waiting Contact Sheet” including the purpose of your visit and any need for language assistance. 
Free parking is available on either side of the building.
