Please be advised that, you have the option to schedule a telephone interview, an interview by video with an EEOC representative, or an in-person interview at our office.  Individuals who come into the office without an appointment will be screened for appropriate follow-up. Scheduling an interview is strongly recommended and individuals with appointments will be given priority.  

You are encouraged to visit the EEOC Public Portal (https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/) to schedule an intake appointment by telephone, by video or in-person.   The system can also be accessed by going directly to our website at https://www.eeoc.gov/

There are strict deadlines for filing a charge of discrimination, please review the information in the timeliness tab or call 1-800-669-4000. 

For individuals who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, you can reach EEOC by videophone at 1-844-234-5122. If you have a disability which prevents you from accessing the Public Portal or you otherwise have difficulty with accessing the portal, please call 1-800-669-4000.

Office Hours

Located on the second floor of the Robert E. Coyle Federal Courthouse, the Fresno Local Office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except federal holidays. The courthouse has a security check required of all visitors located at the main entrance.

Although walk-ins are accepted, scheduling an appointment is strongly recommended. Individuals who walk-in will be screened and appropriate action will be taken. Keep in mind that individuals with appointments and those whose statute of limitations are about to expire will be given priority.  
If you wish to file a charge, we have an online portal which allows you to conveniently schedule an intake interview with EEOC personnel. We recommend you schedule an interview through our portal. Intake interviews are by appointment only. For in-person interviews, please note that you may only bring a representative or interpreter into your intake interview.

If you do not have internet access, are not able to schedule an appointment, or are within sixty (60) days of your filing deadline, please contact our office at (559) 753-8480 or by email at FRESGOV@EEOC.gov.

There is a Café inside the courthouse and located next to our office.  There are commercial parking lots and metered street parking in the surrounding area.
