Corning to Pay $120,000 to Settle EEOC Sex Discrimination Case

NEW YORK – Corning Incorporated will pay $120,000 and furnish other relief to settle a sex discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

According to the EEOC’s lawsuit, Corning violated federal law by failing to promote female “process assistants” (machine operators) at its Sullivan Park and Big Flats locations in southern central New York.

Major New England McDonald’s Owner/Operator to Pay $1,600,000 to Settle EEOC Class Harassment and Retaliation Suit
