Male Job Seekers Not Hired by Kickback Jack’s Restaurants May Have Suffered Discrimination, EEOC Says

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is inviting male job applicants who were not hired by Kickback Jack’s restaurants in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia to contact the federal agency for possible inclusion in a sex discrimination case, the federal agency announced today.

Kickback Jack’s Sued by EEOC for Failing to Hire Males for Front-of-House Positions

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Battleground Restaurants, Inc., and Battleground Restaurant Group, Inc., North Carolina-based corporations that operate Kickback Jack’s restaurants, violated federal law when they refused to hire male applicants for non-managerial front of house positions, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Teamsters Union Local #455 Settles EEOC Sexual Harassment Case

BOULDER, Colo. – Teamsters Local Union # 455, a labor union with locations in Denver and Fort Morgan, Colorado, has agreed to pay $85,000 and provide other relief to resolve a federal lawsuit charging sexual harassment by one of its business agents brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
