Ephraim McDowell Health to Pay $335,000 in EEOC Sex Discrimination and Retaliation Lawsuit

Clarksburg JATC to Pay $150,000 to Settle EEOC Sex Discrimination Charge

CLARKSBURG, W.V. – Clarksburg Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC), which oversees an electrician apprenticeship program in North-Central West Virginia, has agreed to pay $150,000 and provide injunctive relief to resolve charges of sex discrimination filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

R&L Carriers to Pay $1.25 Million to Settle EEOC Sex Discrimination Suit

INDIANAPOLIS, IN. – R&L Carriers, Inc. and R&L Carriers, Shared Services, LLC (R&L Carriers), a nationwide trucking company headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, will pay $1,250,000 to a class of female applicants and take steps to prevent future discrimination against female applicants to settle a federal lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

EEOC Sues Gypsum Express for Sex Discrimination, Retaliation and Constructive Discharge

INDIANAPOLIS — The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today announced that it filed suit against Gypsum Express, Ltd., headquartered in Baldwinsville, New York, for sex discrimination in hiring, as well as retaliation and constructive discharge involving two former recruiters. Gypsum Express, Ltd. provides truck-transportation services and currently has terminals in Pennysylvania, New York, Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, Indiana, Georgia, South Carolina and Illinois.
