Seward and Son to Pay $150,000 in EEOC Race and National Origin Discrimination Lawsuit

JACKSON, Miss. – Seward and Son Planting Company, a farming operation with 22,000 acres of corn, soybeans and cotton in Louise, Mississippi, will pay $150,000 and implement policy changes via a three-year consent decree to settle a race and national origin discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

EEOC Files Subpoena Enforcement Action Against Mauser Packaging Solutions

CHICAGO – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today that it has filed an action in federal court to enforce a subpoena that it issued during its investigation into claims that Mauser Packaging Solutions engaged in illegal hiring practices, including limiting, segregating, or classifying applicants by race, national origin, or sex for various Mauser facilities, primarily in the Chicagoland area.

Eagle Services to Pay $100,000 to Resolve EEOC National Origin and Race Discrimination Charge

CHICAGO – Eagle Services, an industrial and environmental cleaning service with locations in Illinois and Indiana, will pay $100,000 in monetary relief to a class of affected employees to voluntarily resolve an employment discrimination charge filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Baumann Farms to Pay Over $180,000 to Settle EEOC Sexual Harassment, Retaliation and National Origin Discrimination Lawsuit
