EEOC Files Subpoena Enforcement Action Against University of Pennsylvania Over Antisemitic Work Environment

PHILADELPHIA – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today announced the filing of an action in federal court to enforce a subpoena issued during its investigation into claims that the University of Pennsylvania engaged in unlawful employment practices by allowing antisemitic harassment to persist and escalate throughout its Philadelphia campus and creating a hostile work environment for Jewish faculty and staff.

EEOC Sues HCL America for Age and National Origin Discrimination

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – HCL America, Inc. violated federal law when it refused to hire a qualified, 61-year-old Indian job applicant for a sales director position based on his age and national origin, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Healthcare Services Group to Settle EEOC National Origin Discrimination Charge

SAN FRANCISCO – Healthcare Services Group, Inc., which provides housekeeping and other services to healthcare facilities and employees 35,000 employees in 48 states, agreed to provide monetary and injunctive relief to an employee following an investigation by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

Blackstone Consulting, Inc. Will Pay $37,500 To Settle EEOC National Origin Discrimination Suit

BALTIMORE – Blackstone Consulting Inc, which provides environmental, facilities management and other services to clients, will pay $37,500 in monetary relief and furnish equitable relief to settle a federal national origin discrimination lawsuit, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today.
