EEOC Sues Security Assurance Management for Sex and Pregnancy Discrimination

WASHINGTON – Security Assurance Management, Inc. (SAM), a security firm operating in the Washington area, violated federal law when it removed a special police officer from her assignment because its client did not want her working at its jobsite while pregnant, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed Jan. 21.

EEOC Sues Alternate Solutions Health Network and Inova Home Health for Pay Discrimination

WASHINGTON - Inova Home Health, LLC (IHH), which is owned in-part and managed by Alternate Solutions Health Network, LLC (ASHN), provides home healthcare coordination services to patients at the Inova Health System in northern Virginia, including through the services of their Post-Acute Care Coordinators (PACCs).  IHH and ASHN violated civil rights laws by paying female PACCs less than male PACCs the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleged in a lawsuit it filed today.
