Air Evac EMS to Pay $59,000 in EEOC Discrimination Lawsuit

JACKSON, Miss. – Air Evac EMS, an emergency air medical transportation services company headquartered in O’Fallon, Missouri, operating more than 150 helicopter air ambulance bases across 15 states, will pay $59,000 and furnish other relief, settling a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).

Elaine’s Pet Resorts Settles EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

FRESNO, Calif. – Elaine’s Pet Resorts, et. al., which operates pet resorts in Fresno and Madera, California, will pay $35,000 and provide other relief to resolve a disability lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

According to the EEOC’s lawsuit, since at least 2021, Elaine’s Pet Resorts failed to hire or terminated employees who failed the company’s post-offer drug screening, despite the medications being lawfully prescribed.

BaronHR to Pay $2.2 Million in EEOC Hiring Discrimination Lawsuit

LOS ANGELES – Nationwide staffing agency BaronHR, LLC will pay $2.2 million and enter a consent decree requiring extensive injunctive relief to settle a hiring discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) the federal agency announced today.
