EEOC Sues Saint Clare’s Health for Disability Discrimination

EEOC Sues McLane Northeast for Disability Discrimination

BUFFALO – McLane Northeast, a distribution company with a facility outside Baldwinsville, N.Y., violated federal law by refusing to interview a qualified applicant because she was deaf, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.  

According to the EEOC’s complaint, a deaf individual applied for two positions in McLane’s warehouse located in Lysander, N.Y., for which she was fully qualified. McLane contacted her the same day and left a message.

EEOC Atlanta District Office Remodeling

ATLANTA – The Atlanta District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commis­sion (EEOC) announced today that it is undergoing a full office remodeling project. Lucy’s Cantina Royale and Restaurant Group Sued by EEOC for Firing Pregnant Employee

NEW YORK – A restaurant group that includes Lucy’s Cantina Royale, a Mexican restaurant operating in Manhattan, unlawfully fired an employee because she was pregnant, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed yesterday.
