EEOC Sues Gamer Logistics for Age Discrimination

EL PASO, Texas— Fat and Broke, Inc., doing business as Gamer Logistics, a logistics company located in El Paso with offices in Laredo, Texas, Indiana, and Mexico, violated federal law when it fired and refused to hire a class of older drivers and applicants for driver positions because of their age, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit announced today.

Action Insulation to Pay $40,000 in EEOC Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

SAVANNAH, Ga. – Action Insulation Co., a general contractor specializing in insulation installation and asbestos abatement in Port Wentworth, Georgia, agreed to pay $40,000 to settle a sexual harassment and constructive discharge lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Parris Pizza Company to Pay $150,000 to Settle EEOC Race Harassment Lawsuit

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Parris Pizza Company, LLC, the former owner of a Domino’s Pizza franchise in Olean, New York, has agreed to pay $150,000 and provide other relief to resolve a racial harassment lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

EEOC Sues Corner Bar for Pregnancy Discrimination

AUSTIN, Texas – Corner Bar, which operates on South Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas, discriminated against a female bartender by reducing her hours and terminating her because she was pregnant, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit it filed today.
