Air Systems Inc. to Pay $1.25 Million to Settle EEOC Racial Harassment Suit

CUPERTINO, CA – A San Jose-based electrical subcontractor at the Apple Park construc­tion project, Air Systems Inc. (ASI), will pay $1,250,000 to eight African American former employees and provide other relief to settle a racial harassment lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Guidewire Software to Pay $200,000 to Settle EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

SAN FRANCISCO – Foster City-based software publisher Guidewire Software, Inc. will pay $200,000 and hire a consultant to facilitate changes to its policies and training practices to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Brookdale Senior Living Communities to Pay $80,000 to Settle EEOC Retaliation Suit

SAN FRANCISCO – Nationwide senior care provider Brookdale Senior Living Communities, Inc. will pay $80,000 and provide other relief to settle a retaliation discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
