Insurance Auto Auctions to Pay $175,000 in EEOC Racial Harassment Lawsuit

FREMONT, Calif. — Vehicle auctioneer Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. will pay $175,000 and provide injunctive relief to resolve a racial harassment lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Amerigo Italian Restaurant Owner Companies Pay $60,000 in EEOC Discrimination Suit

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – J.H.S. Holdings, LLC, and 4Top Hospitality Group, Inc., owners of Amerigo Italian Restaurant, will pay $60,000 and furnish other relief to settle a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) discrimination and retaliation lawsuit, the federal agency announced today.

Whiting-Turner to Pay $1.2 Million to Settle EEOC Racial Harassment and Retaliation Suit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, a construction management and general contracting company headquartered in Baltimore, will pay $1.2 million to a class of Black former workers and furnish other relief to settle a race harassment and retaliation lawsuit brought against it by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

EEOC Sues PRC Industries for Racial Harassment and Retaliatory Termination

RENO, Nev. – E-commerce remanufacturer PRC Industries (PRC) violated federal law by tolerating racial harassment of two Black workers and firing them in retaliation for reporting the harassment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.
