Bell Road Tire to Pay $64,500 in EEOC Disability Discrimination Resolution

PHOENIX — Bell Road Tire and Auto LLC, doing business as Big O Tires, a tire company in Glendale, Arizona, will pay $64,500 and implement corrective measures to settle a disability discrimination case,  the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today.

EEOC Sues Res-Care for Pregnancy and Disability Discrimination and Retaliation

SOCORRO, N.M. – Res-Care and Equus Workforce Solutions (Res-Care), nationwide job-assistance companies doing business in New Mexico, violated federal law when they discriminated against an employee with a high-risk pregnancy and disabilities, and retaliated against her for requesting a reasonable accommodation, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

EEOC Sues Starlite Station for Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

GREELEY, Colo. – ’Murica LLC, operator of the Western-themed Starlite Station bar and dance hall in Greeley violated federal law when it subjected employees to a sexually hostile work environment, then retaliated against employees who opposed the employer’s actions, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.
