Ephraim McDowell Health to Pay $335,000 in EEOC Sex Discrimination and Retaliation Lawsuit

EEOC and Resourceful Environmental Services Agree to Conciliate Sexual Orientation Charge

TUPELO, Miss. – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Resourceful Environmental Services, headquartered in Ripley, Mississippi, reached a voluntary conciliation agreement to resolve a charge of discrimination filed by a former employee alleging a hostile work environment based on the employee’s sexual orientation, the federal agency announced today.

EEOC Sues Gypsum Express for Sex Discrimination, Retaliation and Constructive Discharge

INDIANAPOLIS — The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) today announced that it filed suit against Gypsum Express, Ltd., headquartered in Baldwinsville, New York, for sex discrimination in hiring, as well as retaliation and constructive discharge involving two former recruiters.
