EEOC Sues General Motors and UAW for Age Discrimination

BEDFORD, Ind. – General Motors (GM) and the international union of United Auto Workers violated federal law when they negotiated a collective bargaining agreement which limited short-term disability payments to older workers who receive Social Security Retirement benefits, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Dollar General to Pay $295,000 in EEOC Age Discrimination and Retaliation Lawsuit

ST. LOUIS – Dollar General Stores will pay $295,000 and furnish other relief to settle a U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) age discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuit, the federal agency announced today.

Lilly to Pay $2.4 Million to Settle Nationwide EEOC Age Discrimination Lawsuit

INDIANAPOLIS – Lilly USA, LLC, a pharmaceutical corporation based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and its parent company, Eli Lilly and Company, will pay $2.4 million and provide other equitable relief to settle a nationwide class age discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
