Shelby Baptist Medical Center to Pay $60,000 in EEOC Disability Discrimination and Retaliation Suit

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Shelby Baptist Medical Center and its operating companies will pay $60,000 and provide other injunctive relief to settle claims of disability discrimination and retaliation in a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –Variety store retailer Dolgencorp, LLC, doing business as Dollar General, has agreed to pay $1 million and provide other relief to settle a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleging that its hiring process violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act (GINA) , the federal agency announced today.

Outokumpu Stainless USA, LLC to Pay $49,000 to Settle EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Outokumpu Stainless USA, LLC agreed to pay $49,000 to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
