EEOC Sues Wendy’s for Disability and Age Discrimination

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Wendy’s International, LLC violated federal law when it discriminated against a district manager because of disability and age, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit announced today.

Virginia International Terminals to Pay $20,000 in EEOC Disability Discrimination Suit

NORFOLK, Va. – Virginia International Terminals, LLC (VIT), a marine terminal operator headquartered in Norfolk, will pay $20,000 and furnish other relief to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Virginia International Terminals Sued by EEOC for Disability Discrimination

NORFOLK, Va. – Virginia International Terminals, LLC (VIT), a marine terminal operator headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, violated federal law by refusing to allow an employee to return to his position following medical treatment for a heart condition, the U.S. Equal Employment Oppor­tunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit announced today.
