EEOC Sues Delta Air Lines for Pregnancy Discrimination

NEW YORK – Delta Air Lines violated federal law when it rescinded a job offer from an applicant due to her pregnancy, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

NEW YORK—PT Administrative Services LLC, which employs non-licensed professionals working at more than 100 JAG Physical Therapy clinics, violated federal law when it fired an employee who had just given birth because she asked about the possibility of post-childbirth accommodations, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit announced today.

PHILADELPHIA – Support Center for Child Advocates (SCCA), which provides legal assistance and social services to juveniles, violated federal law when it denied an employee with a high-risk pregnancy an accommodation to work remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit announced today.
