EEOC Sues Helia Healthcare for Sexual Harassment, Disability Discrimination and Retaliation

CHICAGO – Helia Healthcare, doing business as Doctors Nursing Rehabilitation Center, violated federal laws by subjecting a licensed practical nurse to sexual harassment by a supervisor, failing to accommodate a short medical leave of absence, and then retaliating against her for reporting the harassment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Kelley Williamson Company Settles EEOC Sexual Harassment Case For $75,000

ROCKFORD, Ill. – Kelley Williamson Company, a Rockford-based gas station, and convenience store operator, will pay $75,000 and furnish other relief to settle a lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charging sexual harassment and improper disclosure of confidential medical information, the federal agency announced today.
