Par Ventures, McDonald’s Franchisee, to Pay $12,500 to Settle EEOC Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Par Ventures, Inc., a North Carolina corporation which operates a chain of seven McDonald’s fast food restaurants, will pay $12,500 and provide other relief to settle a sexual harass­ment lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today. The EEOC had charged that Par Ventures violated federal law when it subjected a teenaged female employee to a sexually hostile work environment.

George W. Morosani and Associates to Pay $11,000 to Settle EEOC Retaliation Suit

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – George W. Morosani and Associates, LLC, an Asheville, N.C., commercial real estate company, will pay $11,000 and provide other relief to settle a retaliation discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

Medtronic to Pay $75,000 to Settle EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

Greenwood, S.C. – Medtronic, Inc., a Minneapolis-based company that develops and manufactures medical devices, will pay $75,000 and provide other relief to settle a disability dis­crimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
