Walmart to Pay $60,000 in EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

NEW YORK – Global retailer Walmart will pay $60,000 and provide other relief to settle a disability discrimination suit by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Jury Awards $1.675 Million in EEOC Disability Discrimination Case Against McLane Northeast

NEW YORK – A seven-person jury in Syracuse, New York returned a verdict this afternoon to resolve a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today. EEOC Sues McLane Northeast for Disability Discrimination

BUFFALO – McLane Northeast, a distribution company with a facility outside Baldwinsville, N.Y., violated federal law by refusing to interview a qualified applicant because she was deaf, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.
