United Parcel Service to Pay $150,000 to Settle EEOC Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS), will pay $150,000 and provide other relief, including offering reinstatement to a discharged employee with diabetes, the U.S. Equal Employ­ment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today.

EEOC Sues The Cleaning Authority-Fox Valley for Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

MILWAUKEE – The Cleaning Authority-Fox Valley, a cleaning service provider in eastern Wisconsin, violated federal law when it subjected female employees to a hostile work environment and terminated their employment in retaliation for opposition to sexual harassment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

EEOC Sues Florida Care Assisted Living Facility for Pregnancy Discrimination

MIAMI – Florida Care ALF of Amelia Island, Inc., located in Ferdinand Beach, Florida, violated federal law when it fired an employee because she was pregnant, the U.S. Equal Employment Oppor­tunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Tamra Schweiberger Selected as New EEOC Tampa Field Office Director

DHI Group, Inc. Conciliates EEOC National Origin Discrimination Finding

MIAMI – DHI Group, Inc., which operates job-search website for technology professionals Dice.com, has entered into a conciliation agreement with the U.S. Equal Employ­ment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to resolve national origin discrimination charges, the federal agency announced today.

Aruba Airlines to Pay $75,000 to Settle EEOC Pregnancy Discrimination Lawsuit

MIAMI – Arubaanse Luchtvaart Maatschhappij Nv, Inc., doing business as Aruba Airlines, will pay $75,000 to settle a pregnancy discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
