Hawthorn Suites Sued by EEOC for Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

SEATTLE, Wash. — The owner of a Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, a hotel located near the Seattle-Tacoma airport in Kent, Wash., violated federal law when it allowed a manager to sexually harass two Latina housekeepers and retaliated against one after she protested the illegal conduct, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

EEOC Sues Red Roof Inn for Disability Discrimination

DAYTON, Ohio – National hotel giant Red Roof Inns, Inc. violated federal law when it refused to promote an employee because of his visual impairment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Walmart, Inc. to Pay $20 Million to Settle EEOC Nationwide Hiring Discrimination Case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Walmart, Inc. will pay $20 million, stop using a pre-employment test, and furnish other relief to settle a companywide, sex-based hiring discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employ­ment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

CUPERTINO, CA – A San Jose-based electrical subcontractor at the Apple Park construc­tion project, Air Systems Inc.
