EEOC Sues Shelley’s Septic Tank, Inc. for Same Sex Sexual Harassment and Retaliation

TAMPA, Fla. – Shelley’s Septic Tank, Inc, a Zellwood, Fla. company, violated federal law when a driver was sexually harassed by the company’s owner and discharged in retaliation for complaining to the sheriff’s office about the harassment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

According to the EEOC’s lawsuit, the company’s owner, David Shelley, repeatedly made sexually charged comments to a male employee and engaged in unwelcome physical contact

EEOC Sues Nice Systems, Inc., for Pregnancy Discrimination, Retaliation, and Constructive Discharge

PALM BEACH COUNTY – NICE Systems, Inc., a software company, which provides software for customer experience, regulatory compliance, and financial crime prevention, violated federal law by paying an employee less, retaliating against her, and forcing her to resign because of her pregnancy, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today. 

According to the EEOC’s suit, after the employee informed her supervisor that she was pregnant he stopped assigning her sales

EEOC Sues Pediatric Health Care Alliance for Retaliation Over Harassment Complaints

TAMPA, Fla. – Pediatric Health Care Alliance, a Tampa-based pediatric medical practice, violated federal law when it retaliated against a female registered nurse for reporting that a doctor, who was also a company vice president, inappropriately touched her, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today. The employer transferred her to another location where her work conditions were intolerable so that she was forced to resign, the EEOC said.
