UPS Freight to Pay $75,000 to Resolve Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

ST. LOUIS – A federal judge in the U.S. District Court for District of Kansas entered an order today formalizing a settlement resolving the final dispute between UPS Freight and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in a three-year old lawsuit.

ST. LOUIS – Black Forest Décor, LLC, a Jenks, Okla.-based internet retailer specializing in cabin décor, will pay $55,000 to a fired worker to resolve a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

University of Kansas to Pay $144,000 to Settle EEOC Retaliation Discrimination Lawsuit

ST. LOUIS - The University of Kansas will pay $144,000 and furnish other relief to settle a retaliation lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

Walmart Pays $40,000 to Settle Disability Discrimination Claim

LOUIS – Walmart Stores East, L.P. will pay $40,000 and provide additional training to its managers to resolve a disability discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.
