EEOC Sues Pneuline Supply for Disability Discrimination and Retaliation

GREELEY, Colo. – Greeley, Colorado parts manufacturer Pneuline Supply, Inc., fired an employee who has a severe hearing impair­ment because of her disability and/or need for accommo­dation and in retaliation for requesting an accommodation and complaining about discrimination, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Arthur J. Gallagher to Pay $40,000 to Settle Religious and Disability Discrimination Lawsuit

DENVER – Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. will pay $40,000 and provide other relief to settle an employment discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

The EEOC charged that Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a worldwide insurance brokerage and risk management firm, violated federal anti-discrimination laws when it fired a client underwriting associate in its Centennial, Colorado office in 2019.

MedicOne Medical Response to Pay $450,000 to Resolve Sexual Harassment and Retaliation Lawsuit

Nashville, Tenn.—MedicOne, an operator of three ambulance services in Tennessee with  facilities in Mississippi and Illinois and headquartered in Farmers Branch, Texas, will pay $450,000 and provide other relief to settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

Sprouts Farmers Market to Pay $280,0000 to Settle EEOC Disability Discrimination Suits

DENVER, Colo. – SFM, LLC, doing business as Sprouts Farmers Market — which operates grocery stores in Colorado and other states — will pay $280,000 to three Deaf injured parties and provide other significant relief to settle lawsuits filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Raymond Clark, the federal agency announced today. EEOC Sues Whiting-Turner Contracting for Racial Harassment and Retaliation

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company violated federal civil rights laws when it subjected Black laborers to a racially hostile work environment and then fired some of them after they complained about the harassment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Lexus of Cool Springs to Pay $60,000 to Settle EEOC Sex Discrimination Lawsuit
