TrueCore Behavioral Solutions to Pay $38,000 To Settle EEOC Equal Pay and Title VII Lawsuit

TrueCore Behavioral Solutions, a manager of programs and services at a juvenile correction facility in Alexander, Ark., will pay $38,000 as part of the settlement of a sex pay discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today. During the relevant time frame, the company managing the correctional facility was known as G4S, but TrueCore purchased the assets and liabilities of G4S in June 2017.

Steel Painters Sued by EEOC For Disability Discrimination

Steel Painters, LLC, a Beaumont, Texas-based painting company, unlawfully fired a worker because it regarded him as disabled and because of his record of a disability, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleged in a lawsuit filed today. The employee had been dependent on opioid medication in the past but was in recovery treatment.

Anchor Staffing, Inc., a Chicago-based staffing agency, will pay $30,000 to settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today. The EEOC's lawsuit charged Anchor Staffing with violating an employee's federal civil rights when it failed to respond adequately to the employee's complaint about sexual harassment, removed her from her work assignment, and denied her any future work.

MIAMI -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and The Collection, a South Florida automobile dealership, have reached a voluntary conciliation agreement to resolve allegations of gender discrimination raised by an unsuccessful female job applicant, the federal agency announced today.

Heritage Home Group, LLC, a North Carolina corporation that designs, manufactures, sources and retails home furnishings, will pay $50,000 and provide other relief to settle a disability discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.
