Job Seekers Not Hired by Radiant Services in Gardena May Have Suffered Discrimination, EEOC Says

LOS ANGELES -- On Sept. 13, 2022, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles against the commercial laundry facility Radiant Services Corp. for discouraging and denying equal job opportunities to Black, Asian and white workers by failing to recruit, hire or staff its workforce with non-Hispanic workers. The lawsuit further charges that Radiant denied equal job opportunities based on sex by seeking male or female workers

Job Seekers Who Applied to National Staffing Agency BaronHR May Have Suffered Discrimination, EEOC Says

LOS ANGELES -- On Sept. 13, 2022, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit in federal court against BaronHR for discriminatory employment practices based on race (Black, Asian, and white), national origin (non-Hispanic), sex (male and female), and disability. The lawsuit alleges that since at least 2015, BaronHR has failed to recruit and refer Black, Asian, and white, non-Hispanic workers for low-skill positions and has denied male and female workers certain placement

Joe & The Juice Resolves Sex Discrimination Charge

LOS ANGELES – Joe & the Juice, a nationwide restaurant specializing in juice, coffee and sandwiches, has settled a federal charge of discrimination filed with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for $715,000 and other injunctive relief, the federal agency announced today.

According to the charge filed with the EEOC, since at least June 2017, Joe & the Juice failed to recruit, hire and promote females in their restaurants.
