Job Seekers Not Hired by Radiant Services in Gardena May Have Suffered Discrimination, EEOC Says

People Not Selected to Work at Gardena Laundry Encouraged to Contact Federal Agency

LOS ANGELES -- On Sept. 13, 2022, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles against the commercial laundry facility Radiant Services Corp. for discouraging and denying equal job opportunities to Black, Asian and white workers by failing to recruit, hire or staff its workforce with non-Hispanic workers. The lawsuit further charges that Radiant denied equal job opportunities based on sex by seeking male or female workers only for specific positions. If proven, these employment practices would violate federal civil rights laws. The EEOC is currently in litigation and seeks to identify class members who may have been subjected to such practices.

The EEOC invites individuals who sought employment but did not get a job with the Gardena-based Radiant Services Corp. to contact the EEOC to determine whether they may be claimants in the lawsuit.

Individuals who believe that they did not get a job with Radiant due to discrimination based on their race, national origin or sex should contact the EEOC to determine whether they may be claimants in the EEOC’s lawsuit:
