Balfour Beatty Sued by EEOC Over Sex Harassment at Construction Worksite

EEOC Sues Silver Bay Seafood Restaurant, Inc., for Sexual Harassment

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Silver Bay Seafood Restaurant, Inc. violated federal law when it subjected a female employee to a sexually hostile work environment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) alleged in a lawsuit filed today.

According to the EEOC’s lawsuit, in February 2021, a female employee working at its Simpsonville location was subjected to inappropriate sexual comments and unwanted touching by the male head server. The female employee reported the harassment to Silver Bay

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Bojangles’ Restaurants, Inc., a Delaware corporation operating in Greensboro, North Carolina, has agreed to pay $20,000.00 and provide other relief to a settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

Burger King Franchise to Pay $60,000 to Settle EEOC Sexual Harassment and Retaliation Suit

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – North Georgia Foods, Inc., a Georgia-based company operating several Burger King restaurants, including one in Murphy, North Carolina, has agreed to pay $60,000 and provide other relief to settle a sex harassment, retaliation and pregnancy discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.
