EEOC Atlanta District Office Remodeling Update

ATLANTA – The Atlanta District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commis­sion (EEOC) announced today that while undergoing a full office remodeling project, it will continue to receive faxes.  This is a change from a news release issued on Dec. 18, 2020.

EEOC Atlanta District Office Remodeling

ATLANTA – The Atlanta District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commis­sion (EEOC) announced today that it is undergoing a full office remodeling project. The project will take several months. During this time, the office remains open, fully operational, and customer-focused, while staff continue to work remotely.

EEOC Sues Lonza America / Arch Chemicals for Disability Discrimination

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Lonza America, Inc., which formerly operated in Charleston, Tenn., as Arch Chemicals, Inc., a manufacturer of pool and spa sanitizers and related treatment products, violated federal law by conducting unlawful medical exams and then firing a recovering opioid addict, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Locos Grill & Pub to Pay $20,000 to Settle Sexual Harassment and Retaliation Lawsuit

ATLANTA -- A restaurant management company operating the Locos Grill & Pub, The Derby, Tavern House, and Central City Tavern brands of restaurants in Georgia will pay $20,000 and provide other relief to settle a sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Oppor­tunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

EEOC Sues MedicOne Medical Response for Sexual Harassment

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – MedicOne Medical Response, an independent medical transport company providing ambulance services, violated federal civil rights laws when it failed to correct ongoing sexual harassment at its Nashville branch and retaliated against a woman who complained about sexual harass­ment, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

EEOC Sues USF Holland for Sex Discrimination

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – USF Holland, LLC, a trucking company providing transportation and delivery services to customers throughout North America, violated federal law when it refused for decades to hire qualified females for truck driving positions because of their sex, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Bryce Corporation to Pay $50,000 to Settle EEOC Equal Pay Lawsuit
