CBS Broadcast Affiliate in Texas to Pay $215,000 to Settle EEOC Age Suit for Female Reporter

DALLAS – CBS Stations Group of Texas will pay $215,000 and furnish significant equitable relief to settle a federal age discrimination lawsuit, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today.

CBS Stations Group of Texas is a division of New York-based CBS Corporation. CBS Corporation owns and operates a group of 29 television stations throughout the United States, including a Dallas/Fort Worth television station, KTXA, Inc., locally known as “CBS 11.”

Deborah Kane Chosen as New Director of EEOC’s Pittsburgh Area Office

PITTSBURGH – Deborah Kane has been chosen as the new area director of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) Pittsburgh Area Office, the federal agency announced today. As the director of the EEOC Pittsburgh Area Office, Kane will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office and supervising the office staff.
