Shreveport Area Restaurants to Pay $34,000 in EEOC Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

MINDEN, La. – Minden Seafood, LLC, a seafood restaurant in Minden, Louisiana, violated federal law when it failed to stop a male worker from repeatedly sexually harassing a female employee and refused to rehire her after she quit, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Hooters of Louisiana to Pay $650,000 to Resolve EEOC Race and Retaliation Lawsuit

NEW ORLEANS – Hooters of Louisiana, LLC and associated companies (“Hooters”) have agreed to pay former African American employees $650,000 to settle a race and retaliation lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the agency announced today.

Bourne’s House Sued by EEOC for Pregnancy Discrimination

NEW ORLEANS – Bourne’s House, LLC, doing business as Bourne’s House Restaurant, violated federal law when it fired and then later refused to rehire a worker because she was pregnant, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed September 8, 2021.
