EEOC Atlanta District Office Remodeling

ATLANTA – The Atlanta District Office of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced today that it is undergoing a full office remodeling project. The project will take several months. During this time, the office remains open, fully operational, and customer-focused, while staff continue to work remotely.

Due to the office remodeling, however, the office is unable to receive faxes effective Dec. 23, 2020. The office anticipates being able to receive faxes again around late March 2021. In lieu of faxing documents, Darrell E. Graham, district director of the EEOC Atlanta District Office, strongly encourages the use of the EEOC Portal, which can be accessed at https://publicportal.eeoc.gov/portal. Relevant documents and materials may also be emailed to atdointake@eeoc.gov.

“The office remodeling allows us to adapt and evolve to meet the needs of both those we serve and those we employ,” said Graham.  “I sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause. I also want to assure those seeking our assistance that we remain vigilant in pursuit of our mission to prevent and remedy employment discrimination and provide responsive customer service to our stakeholders and the public.”

The EEOC advances opportunity in the workplace by enforcing federal laws prohibiting employment discrimination. More information is available at www.eeoc.gov. Stay connected with the latest EEOC news by subscribing to our email updates.
