EEOC and Christopher’s Dodge Ram Agree to Conciliate Discrimination Charge

DENVER -- Chris the Crazy Trader, Inc., doing business as Christopher’s Dodge Ram in Golden, Colorado, has agreed to conciliate a discrimination charge involving failure to hire females with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

The EEOC determined that Christopher Dodge Ram did not hire females for sales positions and did not keep records. Such alleged conduct violates Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended.

Christopher Dodge Ram has agreed to pay $935,000 to females affected by the discriminatory action.

In addition to the monetary compensation, Christopher Dodge Ram will work to increase female representation; hire an independent monitor; provide EEO training to all employees, including management; immediately change its hiring/record keeping practices; and post a notice, in public view of the dealership lobby, that informs customers of their commitment to creating a workplace free from discrimination.

The EEOC's mission is to prevent and remedy unlawful employment discrimination and advance equal opportunity for all in the workplace,” said EEOC Denver Field Office Director Amy Burkholder. “I believe this agreement accomplished that goal.”

If you are a female who applied at Christopher Dodge Ram from January 1, 2012 to June 14, 2022, you could be eligible for compensation. To file a claim, please contact:
