Meathead Movers Settles EEOC Discrimination Cases

LOS ANGELES – Meathead Movers Inc., the largest independent moving company based in San Luis Obispo, California, agreed to pay up to $2 million for individuals who were not hired into various positions due to age or because of their sex, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), announced today.

EEOC Sues DC Water Authority for Age Discrimination

WASHINGTON – The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) violated federal law when it fired an employee based on his age, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) charged in a lawsuit filed today.

Hatzel & Buehler to Pay $500,000 to Settle EEOC Age Discrimination Suit

TRENTON, N.J. – Hatzel & Buehler, Inc., a commercial electrical contractor with branch locations in eight states and the District of Columbia, will pay $500,000 to settle an age discrimination lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) against the company’s New Jersey branch, the federal agency announced today.

EEOC Sues Meathead Movers for Age Discrimination

LOS ANGELES – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed suit against the San Luis Obispo moving company Meathead Movers, Inc., the largest independent moving company in California, for refusing to hire people based on age, the federal agency announced today.
