Dallas Trial Court Upholds Maximum Damages Award of $300,000 Against SkyWest Airlines, Inc. in EEOC Sexual Harassment Suit

DALLAS – A federal judge has denied SkyWest Airlines, Inc.’s bid for a new trial and upheld an order that SkyWest pay a former parts clerk $300,000 in damages. The ruling came after the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed a lawsuit in which a federal jury found SkyWest liable for subjecting her to a sexually hostile work environment. American Addiction Centers Settles EEOC Pregnancy Discrimination Suit

DALLAS – Dallas-based Greenhouse Outpatient Center and its parent company, American Addiction Centers, agreed to damages of $146,613 and provide other relief to settle a pregnancy discrimination lawsuit brought by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency announced today.

EEOC Wins Judgment Against Enoch Pratt Free Library and Baltimore City for Pay Discrimination

BALTIMORE – On Dec 23, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland ruled that Baltimore City and its Enoch Pratt Free Library violated federal law by paying female Librarian Supervisor Is lower wages than a male coworker because of sex.  The ruling followed a five-day virtual bench trial which occurred September 28 through October 2.
